Markdown to PDF converts text.

Data and storage

The workspace processes text, names and images. Its sessionStorage draft markdown-doc.folio.draft.v1 holds queued documents, images and layout, survives reload and may survive browser recovery; New document deletes it immediately.

Generated files, previews and warnings use page memory, separate from the draft. Chrome storage contains three entries: markdownDocPrefs for settings; markdownDocRatePrompt for rating choices; a welcome install-count identifier.

Feedback and ratings

One to three stars opens the hosted feedback page; removal opens the goodbye survey. Optional reasons, comments, version and language reach the publisher. Comments go to Telegram; replies without comments are counts. Four or five stars opens Chrome Web Store reviews when configured.

Analytics

Welcome, goodbye and rating pages use analytics to count installs and removals by country. The welcome page opens once after the first installation and sends the install count through this site, which derives the country from the connection and stores nothing.

Retention and deletion

Drafts last for the page session without a fixed expiry; clearing results, New document, reload or close removes workspace results. Settings remain until storage removal or uninstall; exports require separate deletion; clearing does not retract feedback.

Your rights

Data is not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes. Rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawing consent, complaints to a supervisory authority, without discrimination. Where GDPR applies, consent is the basis for the requested feature.

Intended for users 13 and older.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
